The 10th African Regional Meeting will be held in Kampala, Uganda under the theme; Human Resources for Health: A foundation for Universal Health Coverage. ARM2014 UGANDA will be the first meeting to engage future physicians from Africa to discuss how to build a foundation for Universal Health Coverage and Access through strengthening of the health workforce in the region.

The ARM will run from the 18th to the 23rd of December 2014.The Pre conference and Post conference tours will be held from 15th to 18th December 2014 and 23rd to 25th December 2014 respectively.

Registration will open on 1st August 2014 at 0001hrs GMT and close on 30th August 2014 at 2359hrs GMT.

Registration fees.

ARM fee: $150

Pre ARM: $150

Other registration fees: Post ARM.

Central and Eastern tour $180

Central and Northern tour $200

Key Speakers

The key speakers for this occasion will be from in and out of Uganda. The key speaker from Uganda will be the president of the World Medical Association (WMA); Dr. Margaret Mungherera. We also hope to receive key speakers from WHO and MEPI.

Organization.

The Federation of Uganda Medical Students Association (FUMSA) has been a full member of the International Federation of Medical Students Associations (IFMSA) since 2012. FUMSA recently gained official recognition as a student led Non Government Organisation in Uganda. Our membership is open to all medical students in Uganda through local committees. Over the years, our committees have been growing steadily with an increasing number of active participants. Currently, we are active in the field of reproductive health and HIV/AIDS, Medical education, Public health, Research and Professional Exchange.
